Van der Valk Horti Systems; new participant at Demokwekerij.

Van der Valk Horti Systems has been an understanding for years in the horticulture sector. They are the only specialised company who fully concentrated on the development and production of air mechanics and screen materials. You find the systems of Van der Valk Horti Systems everywhere. High worthy components which not only start up the company but keeps it running.

vd Valk

“Van der Valk Horti Systems became a participant of Demokwekerij Westland because we are an innovative supplier of air mechanics and screen systems and always need feedback from growers and other contacts from the horticulture sector. At Demokwekerij Westland we can get that feedback, it’s the ideal place for making contacts and keeping them” says Arno van Deursen from Van der Valk Horti Systems.

Greenhouses are getting bigger and more complex. Because of the many parts in the machines it is hard to reach everything for maintenance. So you need to rely on them completely. At Van der Valk Horti Systems we go till the end, with every development. Development of new products and systems is our core business. Every part we use has been thought through and we only put our signature on a system if we are completely behind it. Van der Valk Horti Systems, your insurance policy for business continuity.

More than 200 growers at Crop protection days

On the 13th, 14th and the 19th of April the crop protection days found a place at Demokwekerij Westland. In collaboration with Van Iperen, Brinkman, Horticoop and several suppliers of these trading companies, Demokwekerij Westland organized these days.

With a turnout of more than 200 enthusiastic visitors we look back at three successful crop protection days. Each trading company had a separate day, whereby they gave the possibility, to their clients, to catch up and discuss the crop protection for the cultivation.

Next to a presentation from Demokwekerij Westland and from the trading company, visits had been made in small groups to the cultivation departments and crop protection research area. As well as crop protection, Robotica in the horticulture was one of the subjects of the day. The knowledge days, which also count towards extending spraying licenses, will be held again in September 2016, these days will be focused on the floriculture sector.
